Raum für Fahrradkultur

Lange haben wir darüber geredet – jetzt geht es endlich los! Nach dem 3 wöchigen "temporären Raum für Fahrradkultur" beim internationalen Sommerfestival auf Kampnagel machen wir jetzt Ernst! An dieser Stelle ein großes Dankeschön an alle die uns auf dem Weg bis hierhin unterstützt haben!

Eine herzliche Einladung zur „Raum für Fahrradkultur“-Vorfinanzierungssoliparty! Am Freitag den 15. Januar ab 19 Uhr öffnen Radpropaganda und Nonstop Schwitzen erstmalig die Türen der neuen Flächen im Erdgeschoss der Kutscherhäuser im Gängeviertel.
Wir wollen einen Einblick in unser Konzept vermitteln, eure Ideen, Wünsche und Vorschläge sammeln und gemeinsam feiern !

Worum geht’s?

Geplant ist eine Symbiose aus Werkstatt, Café, Bar, Bibliothek, Küche und Veranstaltungsraum. Ein zentraler, offener Ort für alle Menschen der Stadt. Ein Ort zur Förderung und Wahrnehmung des Fahrrades. Ein Ort des Austauschs, der Theorie & Praxis und des Empowerments. Ein Ort der Wissensentwicklung, Verteilung und Nutzung, ein Ort für Laien und ExpertInnen, unabhängige, nicht-kommerzielle Fahrradproduktion, Thinktank und Treffpunkt; eben ein Ort für Fahrradkultur!

Erklärte Ziele sind die Förderung von Fahrradnutzung und -kultur, die Mitgestaltung von Verkehrspolitik und Stadtplanung im Großen und im Kleinen; mit konventionellen und unkonventionellen Mitteln.

Der „Raum für Fahrradkultur“ ist non-profit und wird von ehrenamtlichem Engagement getragen; zur Finanzierung sind wir deshalb auf Spenden angewiesen. Alle Einnahmen des Abends werden für die Sanierung und Einrichtung der Räumlichkeiten verwendet.

Es gibt Musik und Getränke, wir sehen uns!

We’ve talked about it for a long time – now things are finally kicking off! After the “Temporary Room for Cycle Culture” over three weeks at the international summer festival at Kampnagel, we’re now taking our vision to the next level. At this point we’d like to issue a big Thank You to all of those who have supported us on our journey so far!

You’re invited to „Raum für Fahrradkultur – A Space for bike culture“’s preopening party!

On friday 15th at 7pm „Radpropaganda“ and „Nonstop Schwitzen“ will open their brandnew spaces inside the Kutscherhäuser in the Gängeviertel. We will provide insights into our upcoming endeavors, listen to your suggestions and.. party!

Whats this all about?

We´re building a space, that will combine a workshop, a cafe, a library, a kitchen and a venue. A central open place for everyone. A place for the exchange of ideas and skills, for empowerment and knowledge development. A place for newcomers and experts, for independent non-commercial bicycle production, a think tank and a meeting point. In short: A place for bicycle culture!

Our aims are the promotion of bicycle usage and bicycle culture as well as participation in traffic policy and urban planning with conventional and unconventional means.

The „Raum für Fahrradkultur“ is non-profit and is funded by voluntary engagement, therefore we are reliant on donations and contributions. All the proceedings of this night will go towards renovation and furnishing of the premises.
