What a Trip – mit 15 km/h bis ans Ende der Welt- ein Film von Maximilian Semsch
„Worum geht es im Leben überhaupt?“ Diese Frage stellt sich Maximilian Semsch zu Beginn des Films. Er bricht von München aus auf ins Abenteuer seines Lebens. Sein Ziel ist es, das Ende der Welt aus eigener Kraft zu erreichen – auf seinem Fahrrad. Es sind geschätzte 18.000 Kilometer bis Singapur durch insgesamt 12 Länder. Untrainiert macht er sich mit über 50 kg Gepäck und einer Videokamera auf den Weg. Das daraus entstandene filmische Tagebuch zeigt einen Menschen, der keine Mühen scheut, um sich einen Traum zu erfüllen: den Traum von der absoluten Freiheit und der Entdeckung unbekannter Kulturen.
Synopsis: Cyril, bald 12 Jahre alt, will nur eins: seinen Vater finden, der ihn in einem Kinderheim untergebracht hat. Auf seiner Suche trifft er die Friseurin Samantha, die ihn vorübergehend an den Wochenenden bei sich aufnimmt. Cyril kann mit der Liebe und Fürsorge von Samantha nicht viel anfangen, die er aber doch so dringend braucht, um seine Wut zu überwinden.

“Cycle Me Home” is a very nice road movie project made by Hungarian and Spanish film students. Levi, after finishing his Erasmus semester in Madrid, is going back to his home, Budapest by bike, and his classmates from both schools are following him, filming his experiences on the coast of France or in the hills of Italy.
Starting as part of the ECMC2011 Madriz, and arriving to Budapest to Sziget Festival, during this 38 hard days and 2800 kms on the road, we want to meet as many riders, hippies, punks, hipsters or whoevers as possible, and we want to ask everybody to JOIN US!
Even if you want to drink your refreshing beer in the festival in Budapest or in the next bar in your village, come and ride with us!

Der CineMuro e.V. veranstaltet in Kooperation mit dem ADFC Leipzig e.V. im Juli ein Kurzfilm(rad)wanderkino. Gesucht werden geeigneten Kurzfilme zum Thema Mobilität und Radfahren.
The CineMuro association are organising in close cooporation with the ADFC association Leipzig a „mobile cinema tour“ by bike. For that reason they are looking for interesting movies who deal with issues like mobility and cycling.
